Traveltoys is a new company aiming to develop toys and games for both children
and adults to ease some of the stress and boredom during traveling.
We also invite other toy companies to share ideas and concepts, so please click on "invitation" to

Our first range of products will be handmade using the world famous Harris Tweed. We are proud to be
associated with Harris Tweed which is hand produced here on the islands by home weavers. If you're
ever visiting the Outer Hebrides and out walking you can hear the "clickitty click clickitty clack"
of the weaving looms. But Harris Tweed is not a material commonly associated with toy making.
Traditionally it was renowned mostly for rough, tough, hard wearing clothing, Harris Tweed jackets
probably being the most sold item. Upholstery and curtains were made from Harris Tweed too, one
hotel chain uses the material for all it's curtains!
